ENTRY VISA TO ARMENIA
A valid passport is needed for travel into Armenia. Nationals of most countries will require visas to enter Armenia. An applicant must obtain a conventional tourist visa from the Embassies/Consulates of the Republic of Armenia in their country or at the airport in Yerevan upon your arrival at US$8 for 21 days stay.

Electronic Visa (e-visa) can be obtained at ww.armeniaforeignministry.am/eVisa.

CURRENCY
The Armenian national currency is Armenian Dram (AMD).
Foreign currency exchange can be done with no limitation and no commission at banks and exchange offices.

ELECTRICITY
The electrical current varies between 200 and 250 volts, 50 Hz.

LOCAL TIME
Local time in Armenia is 4 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT + 4). It is 12 hours ahead of the west coast of the USA, and 9 hours ahead of the east coast. Armenian time is 1 hour ahead of Moscow. Armenia changes its clocks for daylight savings on the last Sunday in March and back on the last Sunday in October.
